Rotary International Cites Rotary Club of San Juan's Project

The Rotary Club of San Juan's Financial Literacy Seminar as a Vocational Service Project for Rotary Year 2010-2011, was recognized by Rotary International as a Model Vocational Service Project.

The financial literacy seminar is based on lessons learned from various personal finance-self help authors and condensed into a lecture entitled "The Subject of Money" by Past President Jovie Sison.

Teachers of the San Juan National High School learned a practical (therefore achievable) road map to financial independence in spite of their meager salaries.

Inspired by R.I.'s recognition, The Subject of Money will again be offered as a Vocational Service project for this Rotary Year.

This is the plaque of recognition given on December 09, 2011 during the Global Team's Christmas Party at the Seibu Tower, The Fort. The certificate is signed by the General Secretary of Rotary International and the District 3800 Governor Virgilio Farcon, Jr.
